TECHNOLOGIES FOR SAVING MORE FUEL
The Renault Trucks Scotland T and T High are equipped with technologies making it significantly easier to drive more economically.
AN OPTIMISED CRUISE CONTROL WITH TWO MODES FOR THE DRIVER TO CHOOSE FROM
- ECO ON is the default mode. It optimises fuel consumption by adjusting certain driving procedures: acceleration, gear change, speed regulation, deceleration, etc.
- As an option, an ECO OFF fuel button is used to adjust the driving mode. An indicator provides real-time information on the driving style adopted: the greater the number of sheets, the more economical your driving.
OPTIVISION MAP BASED
Uses topographic data without needing any training. Stored in the Cloud, the relevant data is automatically recorded as the journey progresses, before starting every new climb. Gear shifting, acceleration and speed strategies are optimised, further reducing fuel consumption. Contact is maintained under all circumstances (even in tunnels), guaranteeing 100% geographical coverage.
Two new features:
- When Cruise Control is not activated, acceleration is adjusted according to the chosen mode (Eco On or Eco Off).
- Pulse and Glide mode further improves fuel consumption by maintaining vehicle speed around the Cruise Control setting (+/- 2km / h).
